Every portrait on our realistic fake IDs is printed at a minimum of 600 DPI using high-definition re-transfer technology for edge-to-edge coverage. Re-transfer printing is superior to standard direct-to-card printing because the image is first printed onto a clear film which is then heat-fused to the card surface. This results in a much smoother, photographic-quality image with no white borders at the edges. This high resolution allows for fine skin textures and hair details to be visible, preventing the blurry or pixelated look found on cheap novelty cards. We also apply a digital skin tone correction to every photo you send us to ensure it matches the lighting conditions used in official ID photography. The result is a hero prop that can stand up to high-definition camera lenses and close physical inspection from any angle.
